MemoriesOfAGreatBrother

Hello Damien hope you are okay Christmas still did not feel right without you. We are moving house soon. I am petrified to put my memories of you into a box incase they get lost. I couldn’t bare losing anymore of you. I am going to find the best photo frame that I possibly can and make a collage of you and it is going up in my bedroom-on the wall. I miss you so, so much Damo. I Went bowling with my friends the other day and I am sure we were put into the lane where I played with you and you were so confident that you would win- you actually did. You were so big-headed that day; I think that was the day we lost my bracelet and you ran back hunting for it. We never actually found it- I think we blamed Tasha for losing it lol. You are the one person that I really NEED a hug from and you never come and visit me in my sleep anymore. Could you please come and see me soon. I love you loads bro. I can not get you out of my head lately-you are the only thing that I think about. I love you so much Damo love from your sister who misses you so much xx

I've just finished reading about your son in Patrick Bishop's book '3 Para' so just couldn't let it pass by without paying tribute and offering my condolences to the family and to say THANK YOU for his life.
My school friend, Steve Dixon, was a member of 2 Para and he too gave his life at Goose Green,Falklands. I miss him to.
In 2005 i was reminded that the battle goes on here in the UK when I alerted the police to a group of terrorists planning a bombing campaign here in London. They turned out to be the 21/7 bombers!! Don't let 'em win!
THANK YOU Damien, for your life. You laid it down for your brother!

RIP Damien

I don't know Damien or is family. His story is touching and so sad, yet makes me really proud to be a British Soldier. Mr Jackson, you must be a very proud man.

He will not be forgotten.

FOUR CANDLES.

FOUR CANDLES. 9th Apr 2008
linda hutt karls mum relation: friend
The first candle represents our grief.
The pain of losing you is intense
It reminds us of the depth of our for you.

The second candle represents our courage.
To confront our sorrow,
To comfort each other,
To change our lives.

This third candle we light in your memory.
For the times we laughed,
The times we cried,
The times we were angry with each other,
The silly things you did,
The caring and joy you gave us.

This fourth candle we light for our love.
We light this candle that your your light will always shine
As we enter this sad time and share this day of remembrance with famliy,
We cherish the special place in our hearts
That will always be reserved for you.
we thank you for the gift your living brought to each of us.
take care love linda xxx
